“Because your best work happens when you
                              lead with your strengths.”

Discovering your strengths is only the beginning.
Knowing your unique talents can be insightful — both personally and professionally — but awareness alone doesn’t automatically lead to higher performance or fulfillment.

In my interactive, hands-on workshop, participants move beyond simply identifying their strengths to understanding how to apply them effectively in daily work and collaboration. We’ll explore the relationship between the needs and contributions of each person’s strengths — and how meeting those needs allows people to operate at their best.

When individuals work from their strengths, they’re more engaged, more productive, and more fulfilled. And when teams recognize and leverage one another’s strengths, they become better equipped to serve their clients and communities.

Since 2014 I have supported organizations and individuals in Strengthsfinders with team workshops and 1:1 coaching.

Elevating awareness of the unique contributions, needs and overuse patterns associated with strengths helps teams and team members grow from frustration to fulfillment.

"A pause for perspective
                     — to refocus on what really matters.”

In a world of constant demands, First Things First invites participants to pause, reflect, and realign. My training style blends storytelling and humor to help individuals rediscover what matters most — and live in a way that reflects those priorities.

We’re all juggling countless demands — professionally and personally — and keeping our priorities straight can feel overwhelming. Yet the rewards for doing so are significant, especially during times of transition or change.

In this engaging and practical workshop, participants take time to pause, reflect, and realign. We explore what it means to give the right things the right attention at the right time — and how doing so influences both long-term outcomes at work and fulfillment at home. So we can  live and lead in ways that reflect our true priorities — not just our to-do lists.

Leadership extends far beyond the number of employees managed or the projects supervised. While those factors are important, the true impact of a leader often lies in their approach and process, rather than just the results they achieve. Let's delve into what effective leadership entails whether in coaching staff, managing projects, or overseeing budgets. Participants will examine the practical use of workplace personality assessments to role assignments, coaching, and annual performance evaluations. In this keynote we'll also investigate various decision-making strategies, the crucial role of communication in leadership, and the fundamental aspects of how we present ourselves to others.

“Because great leadership isn’t about being in                  charge - it’s about being worth following.”

Reflect on the most outstanding leader you've ever worked with.
What qualities made them exceptional?

By the end of this session, participants will:
✅ Understand the balance between confidence and humility in leadership.
✅ Identify how personality assessments can inform coaching, assignments, and evaluations.
✅ Explore decision-making and communication strategies that build trust and engagement.
✅ Reflect on their personal leadership presence and its impact on others.

Facilitator Workshop

Building the confidence, clarity, and connection that create engaging facilitation.

If you’ve ever led a group and thought, “That didn’t land quite the way I hoped,” — you’re not alone.
Facilitating isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about creating space for learning, reflection, and connection.

My Facilitator Workshops are designed for anyone who guides others — whether you’re a supervisor,  trainer, coach, or program lead. Through interactive, hands-on learning, we’ll explore the “how” of facilitation just as much as the “what.”

.

Who It’s For

  • Supervisors and managers who coach staff

  • Trainers and peer facilitators

  • Implementation team members

  • Anyone who leads meetings, delivers updates to boards, provides presentations or training sessions

What Participants Walk Away With

  • Practical tools for designing and delivering effective sessions

  • Techniques for fostering participation and meaningful dialogue

  • Renewed confidence and a deeper understanding of how to guide — not just teach — others

  • A clear framework for continued growth as a facilitator

What We Cover

Each workshop is customized to fit your team’s needs, but common focus areas include:

  • Building confidence and presence in front of groups

  • Engaging participants with diverse learning styles

  • Balancing structure with flexibility

  • Managing challenging group dynamics

  • Creating safe spaces for honest discussion and growth

  • Using feedback and reflection to strengthen facilitation skills

The Experience

Expect a workshop that’s anything but lecture-based.
We’ll model the very skills we talk about — reflection, curiosity, humor, and humility — so participants not only hear good facilitation, they feel it in action.

Whether you’re new to facilitation or looking to sharpen your approach, this workshop offers insight, laughter, and the occasional “aha” moment you’ll take back to your team.
